The Art of Training Women

Training women is an art in itself. Let me tell you, it is harder to train women than men for a few reasons:
- Women if over worked or worked in the wrong way can get a “male like” appearance;

- Women’s diet is different from men’s diet;
- Women’s training needs to have rhythmic dance like movements to create curves not bulk.
In my experience at my business Rawfit Personal Training on Sydney’s Lower North Shore, I train lots of high profile clients that need to have a very feminine body like models and actors. It is my job to make sure that they get sexy, slim and feminine, and the last thing that they want is to get bulky.
Lots and lots of Personal trainers out there keep committing the same mistake: training their female clients like their male clients. The result is ugly.
Women need to train at a high intensity, using appropriate light weights, and the most important thing : diversity !
Yes diversity, that is the secret my friends. All sessions need to be different, the intensity needs to be the same between sessions, but the diversity and the number of repetitions are the secret.
At Rawfit I guarantee that my clients will never get bored…the training needs to have that fresh quality…that sensation that things are always new. That’s why you should never EVER repeat the same exercises.
So remember when you train to keep things fresh, create variety, creativity, light weights ! That is the recipe.
That is when training becomes fun and part of your life !
Eugenie Kelly, Editor of Australian Harper’s Bazaar said: “Ricardo is actually the first trainer I’ve worked with who is serious about making exercise fun.”
So in my opinion that is the magic recipe for exercise and personal training.
So women what are you waiting for to have fun?
