EMS and Fat Mobilisation
Who's it for?
EMS is for anyone who wants an easy and fast way to lose inches, strengthen
muscles and body re-shape.
What does it do?
EMS is an electrical stimulation of muscles creating an intensive 'workout' to
targeted areas. 12 different muscle groups can be worked at the same time, the
equivalent to a 3 hour gym workout.
What results should I expect?
Electro therapy delivers fast inch loss and slimming, body re-shaping, increases
strength, strengthens pelvic floor, tightens sagging muscles, aids cellulite
reduction and is wonderful body sculpting for both sexes.
When will I see results?
On average you will see results within 10 sessions. For fast results we
recommend 3 sessions per week for the first 3 weeks and maintenance of 1-2 per
week thereafter. We have had clients drop a dress size in 3 weeks.
We recommend EMS during dieting and weight loss.
What does it cost?
From $45 per session (45 mins)

Whole Body Vibration
How does a vibration plate work?
The mechanical stimulus produces a stretch reflex in the muscles. This means
that the muscles react to the vibration by contracting and relaxing
automatically. Although this may vary from person to person, frequencies in the
higher range cause very intense and highly effective muscle contractions.
Frequencies in the lower range are used mainly for relaxing by stimulating the
blood circulation.
How long has vibration training been around?
Scientists of the former Soviet Union began developing the vibration strength
field in the 1970s to train Olympic athletes. Later, they applied it to
cosmonauts in and returning from outer space.
When shouldn't I use a vibration plate?
Anyone who is allowed to do sports can use the vibration plate. An advantage is
its low threshold, which means that elderly, handicapped or rehabilitating
persons can use it as well.
How can vibration training help me?
Whole Body Vibration is a low impact but highly effective training device, which
means that it can be used by most people. It is good for muscles, blood
circulation, the skeletal and the nervous system.
What age can I train on a vibration plate?
Vibration plates are used by people between 10 and 80 years old. The user's
position on the vibration plate is the most important factor. You have to be
able to assume the correct positions to absorb the vibrations. For elderly
people, there is no real age limit, apart from being able to complete the
exercise program, even if it is only at a low frequency.
How does Vibration Training get my muscles to contract automatically?
Every muscle has specialized fibres that register even the minute changes in
length of the muscle. Vertical vibrations cause the muscles to change length, so
these specialized muscles fibres cause a jerk reflex, thereby contracting and
relaxing at a fast pace.
Does it help against osteoporosis?
Yes. Bone density depends on 4 factors: genetics, nutrition, vertical stress,
and hormones. increases stress on the bones and releases key hormones. The
machine therefore has the potential to prevent bone degradation and
osteoporosis. Please be advised that osteoporosis is a disease. A BMD below
70mg/ml constitutes an absolute counter indication.
Does it help against cellulite?
Yes. Vibration training increases the subcutaneous micro-circulation. In
addition, a person training on it will burn more body fat and improve muscle
tone.
